Congressional nom showed up this past week in AF portal and Westpoint portal, but not Navy or MM. MOC office hasn't notified us of anything yet.

DS has an LOA to Westpoint and Merchant Marine. Presidential as well.

Any idea why he would get it for USAFA and Westpoint, but not MM or Navy? Or maybe they just didn't show up yet?

USAFA is far and above his first choice. We are just curious.

Presidential: Since that is an eligibility-based nom, your DS will get that at every SA which uses those and for which he applied.

Elected official noms: The elected official’s slate (list) of up to 10 names for each SA will likely have had different competing applicants for a spot on each slate. Your DS may simply have not been placed on a slate for a particular SA. Some elected officials do not dupe names across slates or with other elected officials in same state, so your DS is fortunate indeed if your state does not collaborate this way and multiple noms are possible.

And - elected official slates are not due to SAs until 1/31. Some may not have been sent yet.

And - enormous amounts of data are flowing to the SAs now. They do not have enormous Admissions staffs. The noms may be in “the system,” but not yet updated on the outward-facing portal.

Hang in there. DS is in a good position with LOAs.
