Hi, I had gone for my congressional nomination meeting for USNA on December 8th. I spoke to someone shortly thereafter, and supposedly the interview went well - but in regards to them notifying you...is their a standard that is upheld? In other words, are they supposed to notify you within 2-3 weeks as to whether or not you'll receive the sponsorship? Thank you.

...and if you do not receive a sponsorship, do they ever let you know? Thank you.

In case you're still wondering. They have to submit their nominations by January first I believe. That's what someone from my local congressmans office said

MOC have to notify service academies about who they nominated by January 31st. But they can let you know before the deadline. And they will notify you if you are nominated or not.
