I have recently begun working on my Official Application the the USNA, and was just curious as how to begin with a congressional nomination. Should I just complete the application and send it in, or contact them before I start on the application and tell them my intent to pursue a nomination?

Go to your congressperson's and senator's websites. Each representative may have different processes/deadlines/requirements. No need to contact anyone, just follow the requirements.

    Good luck.

No need to contact anyone, but it doesn’t hurt to stop by their offices and speak to the respective academy nomination staffer.
