My son received two nomination for the USNA (Senator & Congressman) but after 3 weeks, his application has yet to be updated on line showing "None Received". Is this normal? It seems that others post very quickly, sometimes within a matter of a couple of days. We had issues with his ACT's being sent electronically that also didn't post until we followed up many weeks later. Any advice is appreciated.

Are you saying his online portal has not been updated to reflect he has received nominations?

If that is it, don't worry. It will update. Remember just because he received notice doesn't mean that the MOC has officially submitted their slate to USNA. They have until Jan 31st to do this. They have a system that does this electronically. With the holidays falling in this window of time, that definitely factors. Also USNA is slammed right now in admissions. They will get to it when it's received.

Yes...that's exactly what I meant. Thanks so much for the reassurance. Also - sorry for my ignorance but what is "MOC"? please?

grahamtrr65, We had the same problem with ACT. I called them yesterday wondering why my son's Dec ACT score was not showing up on his USNA portal. They told me their scores are downloaded to a CD and sent Fed Ex Ground to the USNA and to "allow 7-10 business days for their arrival"

MOC = Member of Congress.

Best of luck to your son.

Ah ha! Of course. (for some reason I thought Maritime Operations Center). Well thanks...good to know there's other anxious parents in the same boat (*cough* sorry).
The very best of luck to your son too. Hopefully we'll be seeing them both off to Maryland.
