I know the nominations were due to the academies yesterday. If you got a nomination, is it already reflected in the portal?

The nomination slates are due to the Academies on January 31.

Whoops! My bad- I thought it was the 29th for some reason.

The question still stands: will that be reflected on the portal immediately or could it take a couple of days to process?

I would imagine it might take a couple days but that's purely speculation on my part.

To try and help clarify, my Congressman nominated me and I did NOT receive a notification that my portal changed (I have been checking it like crazy the past couple of days). I would check your portal, sometimes I heard that it could take a couple days to show as some Congressman and Senators let the academies know before the actual candidates who received the nominations.

My DD got an email from her RC congratulating her on getting a nom from our Rep. Her portal changed either later that afternoon or next morning.

So RC email could be another way an applicant will be initially notified.
