Hello everybody, I am entering my junior year and hoping to receive an appointment to the Naval Academy in the near future. I feel like I am doing everything right. Please tell me if there are places in which I can improve on.

Thanks for reading this!

PS: I'm thinking of joining CAP (civil air patrol) and getting a job as a waiter or at a flight training center to help save costs on getting a pilots license.

Please change your screen name to something anonymous ASAP.

"Steeler fan" comes to mind as a good example.

See if you can get even more leadership roles during this school year. Class or Club officer, team captian, student counsel....

You are in a very competitive district but your resume looks solid. You are getting started at the right time. I can tell you are a hard worker and like challenges. Brawny77 is right on. I can see you are a leader also, demonstrate that by taking leadership positions that are chosen by your peers/classmates.

Have you read the 2019 USNA Class Portrait pdf? There are statistics of student activities. Tutoring is high on the list too.

Right now is the time to focus on the SAT. Consider taking SAT study courses. You probably know that already.

Take a look at NROTC also. USC has a solid program.

And..make sure to apply for USNA Summer Seminar as early as possible. Put that on your calendar. Exciting times ahead!
