Have you been awarded a 3yr AD to an out-of-state school where you qualify for in-state tuition? You may be able to request a conversion to a 4yr scholarship.
Last year DS was able to convert his 3yr AD scholarship at an out-of-state school to a 4yr scholarship at the same school because he had been awarded an academic scholarship which, in addition to some $$$, allowed him to pay tuition at the in-state rate.
I only post this in case someone has the same circumstances but is not aware that the conversion request can be made.
