I wear Paragon CRT corneal refractive therapy lenses and, according to Dodmerb regulations, I must remove and quit wearing those lenses for 90 days prior to my eye exam. So the earliest I can start/complete the entire Dodmerb process is end of October/beginning of November (exam scheduled Nov. 6 to be exact). How significantly will this setback affect my application to the Military Academy, because I know that it is usually a good idea to get the Dodmerb exam done as soon as possible and because my exam is so late, how will this affect any waivers I might need to go through?

Thanks in advance.

It will have ZERO effect on your application for admission. Complete your admissions package; pass the CFA; do everything you can to get your Nom. You must be medically qualified or waived by 15 Apr 2011. Medical is NOT a consideration in "your" case:thumb:

Thank you for your quick reply! I also have another question:

While I was filling out my medical history sheet to take to the Dodmerb medical exam, I checked that I did not wear glasses (only contacts). However, because I recently found out I'm not able to wear my contacts for a few months, I bought a pair of glasses. Do I need to state this anywhere on my medical sheet? If so, how, because I can't make any changes to the paper I take with me for my exam.

Sent you an email. Thank you, I appreciate your help.

Then I should have responded, becasue I'm caught up. If you don't have a response from me, pls re-send your email. I worked all night yesterday, but don't recall this one...off the top of my head:thumb:

No, I did not receive a reply from you. Checked and double checked, but it seems like I did not have any errors in the email address. Either way, I am resending you the email as we speak. Much appreciated!
