Countdown to Thanksgiving

Sweet, id bet you guys deserve a good week home to rest and reconnect :D

Starting youngster year, I think, they are eligible for OpInfo. Can leave the weekend prior, if selected, and visit their local schools and talk to students about the Naval Academy. It is a great program and a great opportunity to get a little extra time off.

Yep, they leave this Saturday immediately after the game. I will be the first to sign up for it next year.

Here at USAFA, my roomate has a countdown clock on his PC overlayed on anything else he is working on. It takes up most of the screen! 5 days, 1 hour, 30 minutes...:thumb:

My son has talked about doing this as well. Good way to get home early.

Cool!

Wish they'd had that in my day! :frown:

Zap, they had it in my day. Got to go every year.
The "video" was a 12" diameter 16 mm film strip. B & W

LOL. Don't date yourself so much, buddy!

Maybe they did have it in my day and I was too busy running home to notice.

I find it interesting that USNA sends highly qualified midshipmen on OpInfo. The AFA sends "luck ducks" on "grassroots".
