COVID-19 and Braces

DS has been cleared with dental braces coming off in April. We just got word that all unnecessary procedures (braces removal) are delayed until further notice. Granted we are in very uncertain times however, under normal circumstances this would be a dis-qualifier. What would this mean for the academies?????

No one knows for sure except the SAs. Wait until you get official word from Admissions, rather than relying on hear-say on this site.

I believe as long as they are removed before June 1...you will be fine. But maybe that changes...

Explain to the orthodontist the situation and that you want to be put on their priority list for brace removal whenever it opens back up again. Be proactive with your doc. If they ask for a schedule time, I suggest mid May so you might have a shot at keeping the appointment.
