Ready to vary your mental floss from COVID memes, songs and videos? Need some humor to balance your real-world concerns?

Brag here about your Only-During-COVID accomplishment, achievement, milestone, personal best, goal set and met.

Did you increase your plank hold time to Chuck Norris levels?
Create a new Quarantini or move your happy hour start time to GMT?
Clean out the place or do the project or build the thing you have procrastinated on?
Conquered pivot tables in Excel? Or your kids’ alien way of doing math?
Put something together out of desperation in the kitchen and it was a smashing hit?
Attempted a Julia Child level of culinary performance and killed it?
Set a personal best for consecutive pantsless or sweatpants or yoga pants days?

No achievement too small, silly or serious. Brag away.

- This morning, I shredded all the fitness reports I had ever written while in CO roles, gaining 4 storage totes. Reporting seniors are required to keep copies, in case the officer loses theirs and Navy Personnel has lost their digital copy. By this time, all those folks are probably out of the Navy. Time to let go.

OOH! Thats a good one. I know that I still have mine but they're probably in our storage unit. Maybe that's a project for another day. . .

Of course, they required shredding, because of the SSN, along with other stuff. If I had been smarter, I would have waited until happy hour to slog through the shred-ex.

Pups got a nice big fenced in back yard to play in. Completed in less than a week with all the helpers (along with work and school). Bonus is the family is using that space now too, which was unforeseen.

Pups needs to re-negotiate his shared usage clause as an incursion on his property rights.

I got the front and back (of the house and not my hair) weeded and mulched. New flowers for front, back, and the deck. Bought and put out peppers, maters, and cucumbers. Done in record time while teaching face to face online. Now I’m sitting here in a total body spasm.

I showered today. I feel like that was a pretty big one! 😂

My lawn and yard are looking good. House is cleaner than it has ever been. I wash my car weekly. Power washed my driveway and patio. Been jogging a lot until I broke my ankle on Monday. Crutches and boot for a few weeks, so yard work is on pause. Working a ton; I am in one of those in demand industries during this whole thing. Hope everyone is hanging in there!

Broke down and cleaned 1911 Colt commander , 38 special, 243 Winchester , 30 lever, 30-06 Remington and 12 gage, Altogether a great day, Seriously everyone stay safe,

Well, I lead a boring life. However I stumbled on a web site with Instant Pot recipes for Indian cuisine. I've made three of them so far and they've all been a hit with the wife. Don't have to make that 45-60 minute drive to an Indian or Asian Fusion restaurant anymore. Trying yogurt next week along with onion masala which is used as a base in a lot of recipes. My taste buds are delighted!

Sorry to hear that about the break @NavyHoops. Been there, done that. Here’s to quick healing!

@NavyHoops

Come on now. Surely there is a bar fight story involved? The other person has their jaw wired shut? You were doing a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick and the concrete wall was a bit denser than expected? Wii game gone wild?

Heal up, keep well!

I wish there was a great story! Just bad ankles. One step wrong and it’s over for me.

Honestly I was just happy to get a boot versus a cast. The doctor asked me, ‘are you trying to bargain with me?’ I said yes. He made me promise I would leave it on at least two weeks.

Ten mile run yesterday followed by a 40 mile bike today. I needed to haze myself after getting lazy with running. Mission accomplished.

cut my own hair today.. any others here brave enough to give that a shot? desperate times call for desperate measures.. 😬

Well done! But let’s assess.

I think much depends on the baseline follicular density and quantity index. Are we talking degree of difficulty and danger for an Olympic platform dive at the 5 meter height? 7.5? 10? Is actual dive (advanced hairstyle) complexity involved too?

My DH just runs his #2 clippers around and calls it done. I call that diving in from the side of the pool. I trim my braid when it’s wet, so I class myself in the kiddie pool, where I take one step down.

Doc, surely you have the Corpsman’s Miracle, the big jar of 800mg Vitamin M, ready to hand.

Satisfying work indeed.

I think a meritorious nap afterwards could become a new variation on Ironman — Mellowman?
