Yes, same email. Wait and watch till next week.
I think you have to have the testing body submit the scores directly. My DS received the SLE email as well. He was able to sign up for the SLE. Any ideas when the decisions are communicated?
Also in one section of his main USMA portal, I can see the ACT/SAT scores that he has typed in. On the right hand side though, the ACT/SAT sections says no official test scores have been submitted. Is he missing a step ?
My file also shows this and I'm wondering the same thing since I have put my scores inMy DS received the SLE email as well. He was able to sign up for the SLE. Any ideas when the decisions are communicated?

Last year, I believe the notifications happened weekly in waves, starting about 3 weeks after the portal opened. If I remember correctly, the emails came out either on Thursday or Friday each week.My DS received the SLE email as well. He was able to sign up for the SLE. I am also facing the same issue! I only see the black screen with the word “welcome to USMA Summer Leadership Community”Is anyone having trouble logging in to the "SLE Community"? I logged into my account with the information given through email, but when I press the "SLE Community" link under the SLE section, it brings me to a black screen with the words, "Welcome to the USMA Summer Leadership Community". On my computer, the tab that holds the website has a blue cloud with the words "Login", but there is no textbox or any place to insert information on the actual website. This link seems to be the only place where I can complete these forms.
Any success? Still have gotten no emails about the SLE Portal. Like you, it told me my "desire to attend SLE has been recorded". I have waited a week now to try and fill out my forms, but have gotten no where.I'm a little confused because I followed the steps and put in my candidate ID to say that I am interested in SLE. Then it redirected me to a page that says, "Thank you for expressing your interest in the Summer Leader Experience (SLE). Your desire to attend SLE has been recorded. Although we are making preparations for an in-person event, our ability to safely host high school students on campus will depend on many factors including evolving New York state guidance. For this reason, competitive SLE candidates will be contacted directly by email in early April and provided a link to collect additional preferences and information." What is the email everyone is getting now? Also, why doesn't this mention a SLE portal? Thanks.
Also, I just tried to click on the link in my candidate portal for the SLE Leadership Community and I also only got a black screen.
SLE is for juniorsI'm a class of 2025 candidate who just completed my candidate questionnaire and was wondering now how to access the SLE application. There are no links or pages that provide an actual transfer to an SLE application. I am assuming I must wait on my USMA ID and login information to then be able to access the candidate portal where I will be able to apply for SLE? Is this correct information?
That is a posting of mine from last January (2020) when I was just opening my file. It seems like this discussion has been revived from 2026 applicants who are having SLE questions. Just wanted to clarify that.SLE is for juniors
People like Emberglow and myself are getting different messages and responses then other people. We have not filled out any sort of SLE application asking about medical records. Other people have, however.I believe the message emberglow received is success as it confirms receipt and lays out projected next steps.
As of today, it sounds like competitive SLE candidates will be contacted directly by email in early April.
Good luck to all who wish to attend!
