I was wondering what the process of cross commissioning is like, or if it's even still possible. Most of the posts I've seen are older and links don't take you to the same pages anymore. Any updated advice on the subject would be appreciated. I.E going AROTC and commission Navy what it might entail or vice versa. What would I need to do to achieve a cross commission or its possibility.

There is no "process" I'm aware of to do this. But, as a starting point, I'm pretty sure you would need to have both your school's PMS (AROTC) and PNS (NROTC) supporting you. While I could see the gaining CO in support, I would be rather surprised if the losing CO supported it. Then you would have to face the logistical obstacles -- whatever they might be -- of making up for the required training of the gaining service that you hadn't partaken in.

I'm aware that some number of SA grads do this every year, but I gather that is a somewhat different process and probably a little easier to do within the SA context.

AR145-1 in the Army Regulations on the APD website linked. chapter 6-32. Just switch to NROTC if you want to be in the Navy.

There is not a pathway currently in ROTC to cross commission as you describe it. You will have to change over to the ROTC program in which you wish to commission into.

Not sure the official process, but as MohawkROTC said, it seems that there is no pathway. Anecdotally though I have heard of two people who have attempted to do so, both failed after running into multiple obstacles (presumably because it's not allowed).
