Cross-town travel?

If USAFA does not work out for me, I am looking at a couple AFROTC schools. My number one (UVM) has a cross-town agreement with Norwich, which is 48 mins away. I’d like to ask current and former AFROTC how they would get to cross-town locations without a car as an underclassman. I’d assume something is worked out that I’m unaware of if they have the cross-town agreements, right?

All travel arrangements vary with the unit. Some provide a van. Some arrange car pools. Check with the unit to find out the situation. Ultimately it's your responsibility to get yourself there.

UVM or Saint Michael's College (both in Burlington) have cross-town agreements with Norwich.

But both are a real hike to-and-from Norwich, which is a ways off the highway with almost no fricken gas stations off of Route 89. Without wheels, cross town from Burlington to Norwich is next to impossible. Sorry.

The university I attend has an AFROTC at a different campus, which meant I had to drive for PT, class, and LLAB. When I first asked the question about transportation, they said it was our responsibility to get there. My parents ended up getting me a car since that was basically the only choice I had.
