CSI Citadel Question

Hello Everyone,

I am considering going to The Citadel next year, and am interested in the CSI program. My questions are... Is it too late to sign up? They say that it fills up fast. Also, if i can get in, I noticed that their are two different sessions: June. 3-27t and July 8th- Aug 1. It says that athletes participating in athletic cadre may attend the June session, but not the July session. Does anyone know why this is? I"m looking to participate in Citadel track &Field field, and am not sure if this applies to me or not. I am involved in a few service trips during june, and the july session would be more convienet. My question is, can I attend the July session inetead of the June, if I participate in sports, or receive a track scholarship perhaps?

Athletes can't attend the second session of CSI because they will arrive for their initial training while the second session is still going on. From what our DS said not all sports are present for the earlier arrival. He said only the sports that began team practice in the fall were arrived early. To my knowledge that was football, soccer and volleyball. For the definitive answer contact the track coach. As far as CSI filling up, I don't know DS did not attend. I do hear from the folks who did that they thought it was worth it. Call the school they should know how quickly the slots fill, and if you need make your decision sooner rather than later.
