Here's to the game going into extra innings and wearing out both bullpens.

Go Dodgers!;)

Hell of a game. Sorry the Nats Lost. If this goes on I will not get any sleep. Go Yankees.

Now it is Dodgers vs Cubbies.

Justin Turner rocks!
The Dodgers have had only had two post-season walk-off homers in their entire history. First was Kirk Gibson's in 1988. Second is Justin Turners yesterday.

BOTH ON OCTOBER 15TH!!!!!

Just amazing.....watch the dude in the bleachers make a nifty catch. (He is a retired police Captain and returned the ball to Turner after the game).

BOO! I hope the cubbies can pull it off. The pitching choices haven’t been ideal.

Four out of five will be tough, but the Cubs did something similar last year down 3 games to 1 against Cleveland!

So did you think Madden should have pulled Lackey for Davis?

I personally think Lackey should never have pitched in the first place. Its hard for a starter to go in late. However, I didn’t see everything leading up to the switch as I had a test to study for.

I also found the previous decisions to pitch Edwards Jr. interesting as well. Madden seems to enjoy digging himself a hole.

It is difficult for Madden after a tough series with the Nats. I agree with your comments though. Madden used a 38 year old pitcher who gave up a LOT of jacks this year.

You sound pretty baseball knowledgeable for a HS junior.

Heck, you weren't even BORN in the 1988 World Series, when Gibson hit the epic jack off Dennis Eckersley.

Well, thats a rough way to end the season. I only watched a few minutes tonight... just enough to see the bases loaded and an LA run walked in.

In my defense, I was born just in time for the best part of cubs history! I’ve been a big cubs fan for a while. My uncle has tickets and takes my brothers and me to a game every summer.

I’m typing this in the bottom of the ninth. Hopefully I wake up to some good news.
