My DS just informed me that he was notified of his CULP assignment to Taiwan. What others have been notified and who knows about assignments in Taiwan.

When did everyone find out? And will DS be notified even if he didn't get it? He is an MS1 How about those of you who got it? How were you notified ?

Can past years' participants share any information about the CULP mission to Peru? I'm sure the mission could change from year to year, and information is sure to be coming soon; but my DD is curious to find out anything she can right now. Thanks!

The portal says acceptance letters posted to CULP SharePoint.
How do you get to the CULP SharePoint?

For those interested, here is a video put together by one of the cadets on my son's CULP trip to Guyana in 2014. I was a little apprehensive at first since the only my generation knows about Guyana is the Jim Jones suicide pact with his cult. In any case, my son had a blast and made lifelong friends. GO ARMY!!!

I’ll let you know you are extremely lucky. I️ got Indonesia last year. It was downright unbelievable!!!! The trip of a lifetime and you will never forget it!! Also we did huge comprehensive AARs to ensure you guys had a great time. Enjoy

Will they release the information on how we were placed in the OML? I was told it was mostly based on your GPA with the APFT being a smaller part of it, but I don't think that's the case as I got a 3.8 GPA and an average APFT score but didn't get a slot. It also may have been because I'm an MS2 and MS3's get priority. Oh well, there's always next year.
