Yes. Plenty of kids go by themselves to a CVW. USNA isn't going to monitor you outside the time you check in and check out.

Do the Plebes 'selected' to 'host' an Applicant during a CVW write up Applicant evaluation reports for Admissions after 'the shadow' leaves?

I believe they do....but either way, make the assumption they do. Furthermore, don't assume they will help significantly and realize they have the potential to hurt a candidate if he/she is not interested or come off as selfish/arrogant.

Bottom line, the candidate should be themselves and everything will fall into place...there is no need to "worry."
