That is true unless, as an above poster said, a candidate must choose or rank SAs with MOCs and is not certain of his/her choice. MOC applications are typically due in the fall, during football season. If the purpose of the CVW for a candidate is to help decide among USNA, USMA, USAFA and/or USMMA for purposes of ranking nominations, then waiting until after the season may be too late.

If the above is not a factor, then you're right and there is no issue. Go after the season is over.:thumb: USNA is typically very willing to accommdate a candidate on a later date.
