Greetings All,

Andy Berger from Houston Texas. As a kid, I struggled on my own to work through the academy addmissions process (early 80s). Filled out the forms, got noms for WP and NA, did the testing, got real excited and then frustrated/angry when I was declined by both. I didn't have the grades or scores I needed and I knew it but it was still a tough time for me to accept.

Fast forward 30 years and it is now my son on my same path. Luckily he received his mother's smarts and is doing extremely well in HS and on a MUCH HIGHER academic trajectory than I was at his age.

I guess I'm here to make sure he (and I) has as much possible information as possible to make his application process successful. Looking forward to talking to everyone about their experiences and ideas.

He will be working on his AFA, WP and NA Summer Seminar applications over the next couple of months. He's visited Colorado Springs numerous times and really loves the campus and the Air Force.

Guess that's it for now.

Thanks Everyone!
