DD2368 Letter and Medical Status Qualified

My son recently completed his DoDMERB and on their site he is listed as: Qualified. Yet the Coast Guard academy e-mailed him that he "currently does not meet the medical standards for admissions". Any ideas what the next step is? Should he contact the Academy or DoDMERb? Thanks.
 
I would contact both. Last year my son had a similar issue with something that made us ask where did this come from. He contacted DoDMERB and the academy and was able to get it resolved. In his case sombody at the academy had incorrectly entered some information
