Dec AFROTC board

Yes! I’m confused about the info. Originally the date for the release was 12/20, but on my sons AFROTC status page it says board is meeting 12/16, results 12/30, typo? Anyone else?
 
I can't take it anymore!! The Nov board they released results on the last day of the meetings even though it said it'd be released a week later... I wonder if people will start hearing today

This is weird DS's portal doesn't show the option of reboarded(status bar) or not and DS can't seem to find a results email from "wings" anyone else have this issue?

I didn't receive any notification and only noticed when I logged in today.

DS's portal has also changed. No longer show "reboarded", has a few new unchecked items in the application To Do list, and the message at the bottom in the dialog box has changed. I have to assume an offer of some sort is on the way based on the message shown.

DD was offered a Type 1 and she applied under General Studies ... just shows that even non-tech majors get awarded Type 1 too! Her stats: ACT-32 composite; SAT 1390; 4.0 unweighted, 4.3 weighted; lots of extra curricular and 3 varsity sports. Very excited for her and the opportunities that this presents. Best wishes to all ....
 
Can you accept the scholarshp even if it is still not your first choice? USAFA is currently the plan. And how does converting work? Type 7 to 3yr type 2? What are the benefits/drawbacks?
 
Yes, you can accept the AFROTC scholarship while you wait to see if you are appointed to USAFA and “officially accept”. AFROTC will be advised by USAFA and then your scholarship will be offered to another candidate. Congratulations to everyone on your scholarship offers and best of luck to those still waiting for the good news!

I heard the same thing from our interviewer on the dates.
