My DS sent an email stating he is interested in being re-evaluated during regular admissions but he has not received an email back confirming it was received. Did anyone who was deferred to regular admissions receive anything back? How do you know it was received? I know they are busy but he wants to make sure they received it.

I believe my DD received a response back via email. I would definitely double check. Good luck!

It comes via email and if they are a top candidate and the Academy determines they are someone who warrants consideration they automatically consider them for Regular Admission and usually ask for updated transcripts, athletic participation (letters from coaches), and leadership in school activities such as student government, BETA Club, NHS, or IB Community. My DS only was requested to send updated transcripts supposedly to make sure his grades were still top notch. He was told he still was a good candidate for appointment.
Make sure his PFT scores are REALLY good...that makes a difference, and check DoDmerb to make sure his medical is approved.
