Dilemma with NROTC scholarship

I have already submitted my NROTC application and I have had my interview and everything. But, on the application, it said to list five schools you are intended on applying to. My list was The Citadel, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Ohio State, and Embry Riddle.

My question is, I want to apply to Auburn. Since I did not put Auburn down on this list, does this mean if I get the scholarship, I won't be able to have the scholarship at Auburn if I get accepted?

If you already submitted your application, you should apply to Auburn anyways. My recruiter said a guy applied to all 5 top schools like UCLA, USC etc. and didnt get into one. Because he applied to other NROTC universities he chose his 6th choice, even though it really wasnt specified on the application.
