Dillema

Hey! Okay, I'm kind of in a rut here.I was promised a letter in my sport, so I put that on my application(I know, I was stupid. I did it for one MOC and my prelim-app not the main app for USMA). However, I never received one. So I am going to call my MOC office and West Point about it, but I dont want to be thought of someone who is a liar or anything. I try to uphold the Cadet Honor Code the best that I can, do you think they'll understand my situation? Thanks.

Most reasonable people (and admissions at any institution) recognize the difference between deceipt, which can be characterized as a willfull act, and a mistake. I am sure if you call and explain the situation all will be fine.

At least one of the SA applications asked for awards that you "have received or expect to receive". I would certainly correct the record when it didn't happen, but ifthat was what was on the app,you did nothing in error.
