To all of those who have been added to this waitlist, congratulations. To those who have come before us, what is your experience? Do you feel chances of appointment are high or low this year? Thanks for any information.
 
Thanks for posting this. As mentioned, interesting to see USAFA doing this. Has anyone received any comms about how many are expected to be on the waitlist? Just curious with this change, thanks!
 
Flieger83, (Steve, ALO) another moderator reached out and asked for the wording of my son’s letter. Said the ALO’s weren’t aware of the Academy doing this. I’m hoping he finds something out, or better yet, that everyone here receives an appointment! It doesn’t seem like a large amount of kids has received them. I haven’t seen any in the Facebook groups and there has only been a few for the Direct Admit.
 
My DS accepted the direct entry waitlist offer. Love the company on here and the insight as we continue the wait.
 
Yes, love the company, too. There’s something about knowing others are going through the same feelings. My DS and I had pretty much resolved to receiving a TWE and were relieved that at least the wait would be over. We are thankful to be in this spot, but oh the agony of waiting! 🥺
 
I started a list to track everyone that received a waitlist offer. Good Luck to all of us to get an offer.

Just learned of this thread over the weekend trying to understand a bit more of the ins and outs of the decision process as a parent. My DS was offered to be waitlisted for direct admit and he had added his name to the list.
I’ll attempt to add his info to the table in the other thread this evening.
