Hello again..

<Before I ask you a question, thank you for all the concerns and care for the candidates.>

I got my results, and it said :
D155.40 Distant visual acuity that does not correct to an acceptable standard

What is the "acceptable standard" that they are talking about?
I know my eyes can be corrected to 20/20.

Thank you for your time~

kjh59,

Distant visual acuity not correctable to an acceptable standard means that on your physical examination either one eye was worse than 20/40 corrected or that both eyes were worse than 20/20 corrected. My suggestion to you, go see your family optometrist, get a new manifest refraction, make sure that the optometrist corrects your to 20/20 in each eye with no errors. If your optometrist is able to do that then get a copy and mail that into DoDMERB with a cover letter stating you would like to rebut your disqualification.

If you can correct to 20/20 then it will be very easy to get the disqualification removed.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask away!
