I'd like to digress a little and ask a general medical question about becoming an officer (through any route).

I recently had an accident and my porenial nerve was severed. I have foot drop in my left foot. I may recover and I may not.

I have been able to run unnassisted and stand on one foot well. However, I can't hop up and down on it without losing my balance.

Do you think I can still join the military (any branch) or is this totally disqualifying?

Do you mean Peroneal nerve?

Peroneal nerve is a branch of the sciatic nerve. Did you injure your knee? Was surgery recommended or physical therapy? It is a nerve with a poor history of recovery. Are you sure about the name of the nerve?

Given ONLY your statement....not anything else....the answer would be no:thumb:
