Hello,

I am a 17 year old Asian American girl. I have just completed my entire application to West Point, and now just awaiting for the admissions offices to update my ACT scores, interview with my field force representative, and my nomination. I was just wondering if someone might be able to tell me if they believe if I have a good chance for a nomination and appointment to West Point?

Here is some info about myself:

Send your RC or FFR a message asking them to review your file. They will know the competition of your area and give you some advice to stay at the head of the pack. No one on the forum can judge your file, but your RC will be one of the ones clicking yes or no when admissions comes around so he will be your best bet.

Everything looks extremely competitive except your ACT scores. Remember scores are a very large part of your application, near 30%, so even a superscored 29 is not as high as I believe it should be. I would shoot for at least above a 30, but with the rest of your competitive application, you may not need it.

Thank you for taking your time to review my application and for letting me know your opinions. I have an interview with my FFR tonight so hopefully I can see where I stand in my rankings for West Point.
In regards to my ACT scores, I haven't retaken any standardized tests since November. In your opinion, do you believe that it will significantly impact my application even though the rest of my application can be strong?
