Yesterday I received an email from DoDMERB instructing me to create my account. So, today I entered my SSN and DOB, my desired username and password, and created it. After clicking "create user", the webpage went immediately back to the home screen, and I did not receive any sort of email confirming my account. When I try to login, it says "my attempt was not successful", and when I enter my username through the forgotten password screen, it says "unable to access your information." DoDMERB still allows me to enter my SSN and DOB under the "New Applicant" screen like I did when first creating my account.
This makes me believe that my account wasn't created. I haven't tried to make a new one because I don't want to potentially confuse things with two separate accounts.
(If it's pertinent, DoDMERB told me to create my account though my case status in DoDMETS is "Incomplete-Closed." I haven't called DoDMETS yet to figure out what's missing from my exam records.)
Thoughts? Maybe I ought to try again with a new username and password?
