Do I have to retake my dodmerb or is the recent one sufficient for civil prep?

As I understand it, your DODMERB report is valid for two years.

DoDMERB

As I recall, the DoDMERB is valid for two years from the date of issue. If you are reapplying, it's good to track that calendar date because it has to be valid up through R-Day of the day you attend USMA. DS was in this spot, went to a civil prep, got appointment on second attempt, but his DoDMERB expired just a few days before R-Day of that year, so he was issued a statement to retake DoDMERB.

However, upon contacting DoDMERB and explaining the situation, he was offered a form to fill out that basically says "nothing has changed" and DoDMERB validated their findings for one more year, so he did not have to retake the physical. Just something to track to help you in the schedule crunch of getting to R-Day.
