DoDMERB and MEPs?

I'm working through the direct commission accessions process and have been sent to a private physician through DoDMETs/DoDMERB. It took them a few weeks to look through my physical and got back to me a few days ago asking for records re: a few remedial/waivers.

A week or so after I did my DoDMERB physical, I was sent to MEPs for a physical as well. From here, I was told that I had 2 waivers that would need processing and have been reached out to by my CIV accessions contact for similar records as to what DoDMERB requested.

Is this normal? I reached out to DoDMERB who had no idea who my accessions contact was or why they had reached out to me. Gave them contact's info and have not heard back yet
 
DS has been waiting for DoDMERB clearance for WEEKS. ALO told him he’s in and don’t worry. It’s ridiculous. Everything is waiting.

Hey! If you don’t mind me asking what are the waivers for? I am looking into doing rotc my last two years. I was DQ in 2019 from the marines for having an IEP and I am not sure how to disclose it on my medical form. Then I was DQ from the army for testing positive for amphetamine but I think that was a temporary DQ. I asked my rotc scholarship captain and she says not to worry about that I’ll be fine lol
 
For sure so:

MEPs said that I only have to go and get a waiver for almost a decade old self harm & same eating disorder

DoDMERB said I need a a waiver for those as well as an abnormal PAP that I had a few years ago

Did DoDMERB provide clarification on the DQ for pap? The directive is a bit confusing, unsure if it will apply to me.
