I’ve gone through MEPS and passed the hearing test with flying colors according to the military physician. A few months later I take the DODMERB in a room right next to a busy road. While taking the hearing test, the nurses outside can be heard very clearly, an airplane flew by overhead, and the cars were very loud as well. I failed the hearing test because I wasn’t able to hear the quieter tones. Would I be able to submit my MEPS hearing test, which was done in a soundproof booth, to overrule this hearing test? Thank you

Wow, I am sorry to hear that - my son's was in a soundproof booth. Sounds like a tough situation you are in.

usna1985 is suggesting the move to the mods who review the posts in this sub-forum. You don’t have to do anything.

My sons was done the same exact way, in a modular type building next to a busy highway. They had to move him to several rooms it was awful. Luckily he passed eventually but it took a lot of trying
