DODMERB Medical Exam Question

Hi,

I was just wondering what is the earliest I could take the medical exam for entrance into a Service Academy? Would it be this comming summer, August? I am a junior currently and will be attending both USMA SLS and USAFA SS, trying for Class of 2014. I am just curious as to how soon I could take it, because I believe that I will need to get several waivers.

U may take the exam AFTER 1 Jun 09. However, the trigger is for the Academies to download your name to us. They ONLY do that after they determine your ability to be a potential candidate

My daughter completed her application at the CGA and shortly thereafter recieved her DODMERB stuff.. she had her eyes checked and her physical exams in September of 2008.

Since there were remedials and disqualifications I was glad we got it done so soon..

Still took until February 2009 to get her waived and passing..

Thanks for all the help, I plan on getting the medical done as soon as I am able to this summer/fall.
