DODMERB not updating

Good afternoon to you all. I'm speaking on behalf of an associate of mine who's also applying to a service academy, specifically USMA. He had a concern with his DODMERB, he got it completed but after three emails requesting his application to be updated with the DODMERB received and accepted, he's gotten no luck.

He also says his FFR hasn't said anything so far.

As people who've gone through this, what would you recommend or say is the problem? I recommended maybe he reach out to his FFR to ask them to update it, thought perhaps his FFR could help out.

SEPARATE QUESTION:
I'm also completing my DODMBER currently as well. Would it be alright to get it completed by my physician or should I follow the suggested hospital that the DODMERB already selected as the nearest one? I'm unsure if my physician is allowed to conduct it for me or not so I'd like to know before I go ahead with it. And after completing the medical and Opto portion, where would I submit this? Or would the doctors handle this?

Your associate should email me: Lawrence.E.Mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide me the complete name and last 4; should ask me whatever questions the associate wants answers to; someone applying to West Point should be able to ask their OWN questions about their OWN application. If they can't, they need not apply to West Point. I can assure you of that! But, If I had to guess using my 29 years of experience in this job....your associte probably doesn't know you posted this......
