Hello, thank you first to all who contribute to this forum, it has been so helpful. My son can not get the orthopedic questionnaire portion in the DoDMETS form to complete with a green check. Have combed through it several times. I know their is an old thread on this topic, but with Mr Mullen away from the forum attending to the site issues, wondered if anyone could point us in the right direction.
Many Thanks

Has you son contacted a DoDMETS POC to see if they can help with what sounds like a tech issue? There is contact info on DoDMETS home page.

Not sure if this is going to work, but my DS went in circles for a couple days over one section that would not let him move on and ( if I remember correctly) . He thought it just needed to upload overnight or something. There was a question at the beginning of the section that he said NO to and then the rest of the questions were related to if you said YES. He tried to leave them blank I think. So he finally filled in with NA or NO to the rest of the questions in that section and then he was allowed to move on. Figured it was a programming error.

Thanks he just called the CIV team, no help at all.
Try clearing the cache and using a different browser. Govt systems are often optimized for IE, they have been around for so long.

Use a blank sheet of paper and hold it up to the screen to move line by line through the text, forcing the eye and thus the brain to slow down, so the reader notices any instructions or not readily apparent guidance on how to fill out the form. Be very deliberate and intentional when responding. There have been anecdotes here about applicants rushing through a form and inadvertently checking “yes” only to find they cannot go back and undo it.

Thank you so much. We have done all of that. I have reviewed his form with a fine toothed comb, and I’m a physician so trying to look at it through my MD eyes as well. Have sent an email to the help desk, and will to the CIV team as well. I’m sure this is user error, we are just stuck.
Thanks again.

Thought I would close the loop in case it’s helpful for others. It was in fact our user error. Needed to add “n/a” to a blank white space to get the ✅. The dodmerb help desk email response pointed it out after reviewing.
