DODMERB - Patience is overrated

My son submitted his remedial info two weeks ago - and got a confirmation email.

Two weeks later and there hasn't been a status update on the site. Parents counseled patience - I have seen that word used a lot here - but he went ahead and contacts his DODMERB case worker. Turns out that his remedial information was somehow stuck in the system and had not reached the necessary reviewed.

Bottom line it is prudent for a candidate to check-in with his DODMERB caseworker - probably multiple times - over this process.

Don't you just hate it when they are right? Glad he showed initiative to go ahead and contact them. We haven't dealt with this part yet and I can see from reading it is going to take a lot of patience!

There’s a case worker??!! How do we find that out?.. all we ever get is a computer screen from DoDmerb, no human contact.

If you go to the DoDMERB website, in the left click “contacts”. You will see who your case worker is. It goes by last name.

Thanks I researched this last night. We started this process last fall and “ magically “ the person our DS changed in May without us knowing about it.
Going to make phone calls today

I also forgot to post that his DoDMERB status shows NO review of information from 24-April-18, that was the last input. Can this mean no one was has looked at documents since that time?
