Hello! my dodmerb status has recently been changed to qualified; however, a couple weeks ago I received notification that my body fat needs to be measured due to my weight exceeding USAFA standards. Does my status of being qualified on dodmerb not matter when it comes to me not being within USAFA's health standards? Thank you!

My DS was qualified by DODMERB and also needed measurements for USAFA. He was within the body fat percentage and was cleared. He is now a C4C at USAFA (and incidentally has lost 33 lbs and is now below the weight requirement).

If you do not meet the weight requirement for your height, then USAFA will trigger a Body Fat Measurement form. You need to be 18% body fat (DoD goal) or less. Waivers are granted for up to 4% (iirc) deviation from this goal for exceptional candidates.
