Our son applied to both the USAFA and the Naval Academy. He started the process under the Air Force. He received two nominations for the Naval Academy and zero for the Air Force. Since he could no longer apply to the Air Force, he withdrew his application for it. In the meantime, his medical was flagged. His doctor wrote a letter addressing all the concerns, even though most were just listed as give a statement. We forwarded that letter to Kathleen Ometer and she said although he was in withdrawn status, the Naval Academy application should kick forward as the main. We have been checking it since we sent the letter in mid-December. Nothing shows up. It keeps showing that he is withdrawn and the nothing has happened to the account. Our son has sent several emails to his Naval contact and he just doesn't respond. It took multiple back to back emails for him to answer a question months ago. He has sent him another email, but we doubt he will contact him. I have sent several emails to Kathleen Ometer and she just won't respond. I just sent another and called and left a message. We are very concerned about this since the Naval application deadline is next week. Is there someone out there that is actually willing to help us or point us in the right direction?
 
I see that you sent to my official email address. I will turn on my laptop at home shortly and answer from there😁
