I asked my son to send you an email but wanted to post here as well. He is being told by DoDMERB that his medical has been submitted to the Academy but the Academy says they do not have it. DoDMERB won't answer the phone and hasn't called back and when he called the Academy they bounced him around before telling him to call DoDMERB. He is panicking because it is due by the end of the week. This has been going on since last week

We have gotten quick responses from the DoDMERB help desk email: usaf.dodmerb.helpdesk@mail.mil
Our understanding was that his application was due by the 31st of January. Does that not include the medical? He had a friend supposedly not get accepted because they didn't receive his medical in time. This is why he is stressed. He did get your response to wait a little longer - thank you.

What I stated was correct. There is no one, for any SA, for this cycle, who hasn’t been accepted because the SA hadn’t received their medical....not one.
No SA has a requirement to have the medical finalized by 31 Jan. Frivolous unfounded in reality thoughts and rumors like this are the only things that are stressful.
