13. How do I know if DoDMERB received my physical examination, medical consultation, or the records I mailed in? How do I create an account to check on my medical status?

Click on the “Applicants: Click here to create an account” portion of our website, found on the homepage. Enter your birthdate and social security number to create a username and password. That will enter you into the DoDMERB database where you will be able to view your file. The arrival date of your physical examination is displayed on the "Application Status(s)" page, under the heading "Date exam received at DoDMERB:"

If at anytime you have questions, please feel free to contact DoDMERB by means of e-mail (preferred method) or phone. See question #8 for our e-mail address and/or phone number.

My son can't locate a username or recall accessing this site. Does he need to click on "New Applicant/Create an Account"?

He also should have gotten an email with instructions. Look at your spam folder if it’s not there. Initially his stuff will be with dotmets, and then when physicians send their stuff in, he will receive an email with instead instructions how to access DODMERB.

When was his exam? It takes a while to make it to DODMERB.
