status change today. What does it mean, if anything, I wonder??????
It seems that that is a very GOOD sign, if you read the boards. Some have received good news shortly after a change, so hang on, it's gonna be a bumpy few days as you wait!
Hmm I don't know what it means but I did receive my appointment on Monday March 9, 2009 and my status was updated today (3/11). I hope it means good news for you!
i had a change too mwbluebeard! lets hope we get the big white lol
my daughter's Waiver was finally added and updated .. changed was dated 3/10/09, but her status still shows august 2008.
I hope the mailman is good to you today! (and us too please )
Still no change for son
Hoping that doesn't mean anything bad. Trying not to worry about it. The site goes down today, and with the weekend no changes would occur anyway. So, maybe next week we will see some movement?
Have a great day everyone!
STILL NO DoDMERB but....
...The appointment came today.....so for those seeing NO CHANGE, it didn't seem to matter for my son.
Keep the faith! Will keep crossing fingers and toes for those who are waiting.
GOD MUST HAVE HEARD ALL OF THOSE PRAYERS......I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOUR FAMILY!!!!! CONGRATS AND HUGS FROM YOUR CYBERFRIEND IN FLORIDA!!!!
Hang in there and know that I am praying for your son every night. I am not going anywhere and will check in daily to hear the GOOD NEWS that is coming SOON!!!
son is pacing around the house tonight and making me crazy......
More appts. are coming....really!! I vividly recall last year hearing about April and even May appts. This is still early.
Hanging right there with you!
Daughter applied early decision and received the dreaded deferral on Dec 21. She was heart broken. Now we see a status change on March 11, which the forums indicate as a good sign, but no correspondence since. On the other hand she has been offered a 1/2 athletic / financial aid package at another prestigious school.
She is basking in the glow of "someone wants me". She was also informed by USNA that she is three QQQ’d and just waiting on a appointment (she has two nominations). At this point I am unsure if after 12 months of applying, completing the summer seminars, physicals that she doesn’t take the first offer received. She loved the summer programs, but has grown weary of the process. Hopefully she will reflect objectively on all offers. This could drag into May or longer. I have a friend whose son had been offered the prep school option last July,(‘07) after they had already placed a deposit on another school. They were able to recover the deposit and 3 weeks later their son was in New Mexico. He is now at USCG about to finish his first year.
If there is one consolation, there are others sharing the same anxious overload
love your screen name!!!!
my daughter's status never changed but her medical waiver changed twice...
good things come to those that wait... I think..
she now has her offers of CGA and MMA prep!!!
