Hello all. Today my portal status changed in DODMERB and said I was medically DQ'd. The portal said "Correspondence Posted - Single Disqualification". It looks like they flagged me down for my taste and smell being affected by COVID, as well as a History of anxiety disorder.
My question is about the status on my page. I am applying to the Naval and Air Force Academy, but the current medical status is different on each academy. The Naval Academy's status says "Awaiting Receipt of Remedial" with no PDF files or links, and the Air Force says, "Under Waiver Review", with 2 corresponding PDF files. I submitted my remedial a week ago, but it seems it was only for the Air Force? I was contacted by the Naval Academy this past week, saying that DODMERB never sent me the letter about my remedial. I did receive a remedial letter, but it was posted under the Air Force tab. To my understanding, that means it is a USAFA specific remedial?
I am honestly confused about where the Naval Academy is with my medical, especially since that is the only thing they are waiting on from me to give me an appointment. I contacted my technician about the Navy issue, but they told me to wait 2 weeks or until they have made a decision on my case. A decision has been made, but the Navy's status is still the same as before. Does the DODMERB need to send me a Navy specific remedial letter, or would they just look at the Air Force one?
