Over Spring Break I told myself that I would not check my application because I wanted a week to not think about the process. I checked my portal this morning and I saw that my medical qualification has not updated in my portal. With Covid and admissions being busy I understand that it will take a while before that is reflected in my portal, but I also know that an appointment cannot be offered without a medical qualification. How long does it take for it to be updated in the portal? I have had my qualification for three weeks and I also notified my admissions counselor.

Jump onto the live chat widget on USNA Admissions pages. Have your candidate number handy and ask the duty Admissions counselor to check your medical status. If Admissions has it, all is well, and the external-facing portal update for the candidate’s convenience is an item on a To Do list that will eventually get done.

Thank you @Capt MJ! I always seem to forget about this great addition to the admissions process.

@MullenLE Sorry to disturb you, but did you have a chance to see my email? I sent a follow up after I messed up the initial email that I sent. If needed I can send another email. Thank you for your time.

@MullenLE - Would you be willing to check the status of my son's waiver? His DoDMERB portal has shown 'under waiver review' since last Oct/Nov timeframe. We have sent in information multiple times to show that he meets the requirements for a waiver (it is for insect allergy). I will be happy to send you his candidate # and info via email. Many thanks.

Tmilanette = MOM/DAD: Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" Read paragraph #4.

DS : Send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your Parent's posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “timilanette - SAF = DoDMERB to USNA timeframe “:wiggle:

Tmilanette - Though you failed to follow the above instructions...............I have answered your son :wiggle:

USNA still has medical section blank for DS in CIS portal. He reached out and DODMERB has it that it was sent back to USNA for waiver review. Should it say that in the CIS portal?

What is said above makes no sens to me. Your DS, may contact me
