My son was trying to check his Dodmerb tricare system and it isn't recognizing him at all. Also can't get into it with new password recently had to change. He sent email messages. Anyone else having difficulty? Dodmerb tricare not recognizing username or password.

It has been down for the past three hours. I've got my Chief Ops checking it out now:bang:
Hello Mr. Mullen,
I am having similar issues with the DoDMERB tricare website. I received an email with instructions to create an account, I did this yesterday afternoon. I have tried to log in multiple times yesterday and this morning with no luck. It says my login information is invalid. Is the website back up and running? Please advise if I should create a new account or use the original account info.

Thank you.

The website is back up and running around 7 PM MST yesterday. Contact the webmaster

My son is experiencing the same issue. He has emailed twice for assistance to ask if he just needs to wait longer or create a new account, but has received no response. He said it doesn't even recognize his UserName or the email address he used for his account anymore. I said I would try and help a little today by seeing if I could find anything out with a Google search, and found this forum. He has not been able to get any information about the status of his account since last September. Do you think I should tell him to just create a new account and hope that because it's linked to his social security number that all his prior filings and exam information will link up? Medical clearance is the only thing he has left for his Naval Academy application and his NROTC scholarship. Any advice I can pass on to him would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Two suggestions or tips:
1) User name is case sensitive. Make sure it's exact.
2) If you're outside the US it helps sometimes to use a US based VPN connection. I'd estimate 25% of the time the site doesn't open for me in Europe unless I'm on VPN.

Is he trying to log into DoDMETS or DoDMERB?
Two different logins.

Recommendations:
Clear cache. Re-start. Try different browsers.
Go to DoDMERB website, review all menu items on left, go to Contacts, scroll down to bottom of Contacts to read process information there. Then, identify and contact assigned point of contact to see if his file has been referred to DoDMERB to initiate medical eval through DoDMETS. He can also confirm if they have the correct SSN for him on his file. Any SSN errors can cause hiccups.
- In DoDMETS, he can try the new user login. If he is able to login, then DoDMERB has activated his evaluation. He should update his new profile with a new password, logout and login, and he should see his material populate - if he is “in the system.”

I read your email as he has not yet started his medical evaluation process yet. Or has he completed his medical exams and is just waiting for his qualification status?

The DoDMERB site is just emerging from a few months’ outage, when manual workarounds were being used.

Larry- Thanks for the block of instruction this week. Dan
I thought for a minute Mr. Mullen had dropped back by on a quick break from fire-fighting team leader duties, but I see his head-banging post was a January 2022 post, when the first sporadic brush fires started appearing before the major outage that followed some months later.

Heck you're right, I didn't notice. Larry taught DODMERB during this current ROO course.

Glad to know you’ve had a live sighting. He is always so generous with his time here. He has been missed since he stepped away to deal with this.

Thank you for your reply. I needed to text my son to ask, and I just heard back from him that he is trying to log in to DodMERB. He said that just to make sure he is using the correct login info he has been trying to reset username and password, but he gets the following message when he puts in his email (which is strange since it's the same one DoDMERB used to email him that the systems were back up): "We were unable to access your information. Please contact usaf.dodmerb.webmaster@mail.mil for assistance." He said he's sent numerous emails to the one it says he should contact, but he has not received any response.

He has started the process and had both his physical and eye exam, and he has been working with them on providing additional medical information. He sent back the information they requested in September and then he has heard nothing back since then. He's been trying to find out if they even received the information he provided before the systems crashed.

I will share your suggestions above with him and see if it gets him in to the systems. Thank you for your recommendations!

Ah - so glad he has at least completed his exams.

Based on what you have told me, I recommend he try to contact his assigned contact as listed in DoDMERB Contacts. He doesn’t need to log in to see that, just go to that left-side menu. He can at least find out what his current status is. Following the outage, I know they are re-populating candidate data.

He can ask who he needs to contact about his login issues, if not the one on the comeback email or the ne listed in Contacts.

Thank you! I will pass all this helpful information along to him, and hopefully he will start to make a little more progress!
