DODMERB Waiver Denial, How About Enlisting?

I just got denied for my waiver from DoDMERB from AFROTC which forced me to drop ROTC. I want to enlist, does anyone know if it will show up DoDMERB denied me??

I would expect so as DODMERB is used for all military accessions. I suggest that you be honest with your recruiter in terms of your DODMERB status. It may be that you can get a waiver when enlisting -- or it may not be possible. Either way, mentioning it up front will save both of you a lot of time in the long run.

My oldest son was severely color deficient but was able to become a medic in the Army. He was originally accepted to the Navy Nuke school but the vision test disqualified him.
