DD is in the middle of addressing multiple AMIs for the Marine Corps ROTC program, and got yet another letter generated by DoDMERB today, but can't access it because the DoDMERB website says it's down for maintenance! For 16 days!!!! How can she expeditiously get them the information they need when she can't even find out what they need? Maybe they will just clear it all up at indoc Great Lakes sector when she's there 22/July- 04/Aug. Anyone else in this position?

Luckily got the remedial request on Friday and was able to access. I emailed the assigned DodMERB person and they can't even process what I sent until then.

Same. It's ridiculous. Everything on OUR end is hurry up and get this done, and we do the best we can around two full-time work schedules to get the stuff in and it ends up being "Hurry up and wait." We got another remedial request on Friday as well, however, was unable to access it. Only God knows what that one will require. SO FRUSTRATING!

That's a pretty good summation of military life in general. No better time than the present to get used to it.

Your offspring won’t be alone at Great Lakes: DS discovered the down site tonight when putting gear together, can’t print the Qualified letter. So... emailing his unit contact and getting the Physical Form backup plan in place first thing in the a.m. Lesson learned: print it the minute you see it!! Don’t wait til you need it!
