DoDMERB phone

Mr. Mullen was able to verify DS 's medical status to USNA, and his email was all that they needed.

This is from a search:
PDF] DoDMERB Web Site Applicant Users Guide - 3:56amFile Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat - Quick View
your mailing address, phone number and e-mail address ... For any questions regarding a medical status please contact DoDMERB at (719)333-3562 ...https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil/savepdfs.asp?f=/MiscMenuItems/... - Similar

I have tried to enlarge the phone number and I have no idea what size it will be....sorry if it is HUGE....can't tell.

Again, we handled things via fax and phone to DoDMERB, ROTC and USNA, and all went well. Good luck, and I know it is frustrating, but if there is a will, there is a way to get through this and keep things moving forward. The DoDMERB staff were professional and helpful.

Larry - Any updates on the outage?

BTW - don't take any comments in this thread too seriously, some of us are just a little sarcastic. I think everyone here really appreciate the time and effort you put into keeping people on this forum informed. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK :thumb:

blueridge, did you just call and say "this is my name whats my status?" or did you need to have some sort of password, etc.?

Just call, they'll ask for your SSN# but thats how I know I qual'd.

Site Down??

I copied a post from last year. I'm thinking no more early notifications on DODMERB. We may just have to wait for snail mail.

Just an observation. Could it be dodmerb has eliminated the admission status tag line for SA's/ROTC because too many candidates/parents etc use dodmerb to verify admission status. After all dodmerb charge is to determine candidates medical qualifications to serve in the military during and post education.

From L. Mullen
"We are NOT able to eliminate it yet. That said, Admission status should be checked with Admissions at the Academy applicant is applying to".

I think Mr. Mullen and the rest of the staff at dodmerb would love for the admission status to be gone permanently. He informed me that he sent an email to the SA admissions folks to let them know the "admission status" is causing unnecessary grief for everyone. The candidates status should be available on the SA candidate page and not dodmerb.

I hope that clears up a little bit of the confusion. Mr. Mullen and the staff at dodmerb have a huge responsibility with regards to the medical information that needs to be processed, and should not have to deal with the admission status of every candidate.

DoDMERB will be closed on 28 Jan 2011. This is a necessary action to hopefully get the website back to normal operations on Mon 31 Jan.
Will DoDMERB also be closed on Friday 04 Feb 2011 in order to hopefully get the website back to normal operations on Mon 07 Feb?

Okay folks, obviously the website is still down....we all know that. We also know that Mr. Mullen stated he would post when the site is back up.

So with that being said I am closing this thread. If you don't like the fact that the site is down take it up with your local congressman/senator/elected representative who sets the budget and IT policies for the government.
