Hello all,
As of Monday, my medical status on DoDMerb is Disqaulified due to a minor vocal chord disorder. I believe my VCD is very minor and does not hinder me in my physical activity. I know West Point has to request a waiver on my behalf, but is there anything I can do to speed up the process or solidify the fact my VCD does not bother me. I am genuinely upset and frustrated with my medical status and feel it doesn't reflect the truth. I have an LOE, so maybe that helps in the waiver process. I just am looking for more information so I know what to expect and what to do to make it easier. Thanks.

You are correct. WP has to request the waiver and there is nothing that you can do about that process but wait. What you can do is get together all pertinent documents/medical records/letters etc. so when the waiver comes through, you are ready to go.

Best of luck!

Did you have a remedial for this issue that you had to send documentation in before they disqualified you?
