DoDMERB World Class Assistance and Larry leaving the Forums

Thx PMLUTTON . I usually only do phone calls @ my discretion. Too busy to play phone tag. I'm an email kind of guy. can accomplsih the greater good for the greater number that way:thumb:

Patentesq - Concur with the link to the sticky. Thx for the kudos:thumb:

I just want to know if "withdrawal from Larry Mullen" is considered a disqualifying condition and, if so, whether it's waiverable. Because there are a lot of folks who'll be needing that waiver.:yllol:

From one of those parents who've had the pleasure of dealing with you both by email and over the phone, I will agree with the others that you will be sorely missed not just for the help, but the for the way you genuinely care about the people you serve.

Hopefully, you will have some oversight into the management of the new operation. If so, I'm sure it will be well run.

And even after you are gone, please visit and post the occasional update to how DoDMERB processes changes are implemented. You can post shameless links to the new site (just like Clarkson does for his blog). While the website and phone can handle the mechanics of answering questions, there is nobody like you who can put the feeling that somebody important cares about my case.

My last question is "What are you going to do with all those hours you spend helping us here on SAF?"

Mr. Mullen,

Thank you for your dedication to our members and all of the applicants you have served over the years. A lot of people here wouldn't be as well off today if it weren't for you.

On behalf of the entire staff, we're sad to see you go. We understand that DoDMERB will continue to provide the best customer service in the DoD and they're lucky to have you with them.

Thank you from all of us.

goaliedad, I couldn't agree with you more! I am one of those parents who had a brief email exchange with MullenLE, on a non-DoDMERB-related issue, but he took time to promptly respond and get others involved, even though it was not DoDMERB related. I will be forever grateful for that.

My biggest concern, though, is that his head is starting to SWELL. We want him to continue helping our kids in his new role, and swelling of the head has been found to be fatal in some laboratory rats.

MullenLE may not fully realize this yet, but these posts are permanent on the Internet (either from this website or the Google-type, web-crawling services). You've made a positive mark, Sir.

Team DoDMERB has stood up another opportunity to have questions answered at "HelpDesk@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil" It is operational now and staff members are gladly willing to assist you.
Great. This is the way it should be.

NOOOO, say it aint so!!

If not for Larry we would certainly have given up on son's hellish remedial journey! We were hoping to see Larry around for the class of 2019!

Good luck Larry. We thank you for everything you've done for this nations best and brightest! :thumb:

I agree, agree, agree. We just recently came on the forum, and Mr. Mullen has helped and directed my son and I during the DODMERB process and on getting a waiver he needs. He treated us with prompt, and professional attention, and made us feel like he would do what he could do to help us. His late evening and early morning emails show his dedication to our children and this country. Thankfully, his expertise will still be a part of DODMERB! Thank you again Mr. Mullen....:)

Phew....glad to hear it Larry. We will come a lookin' for ya if we have any problems the new guys can't handle for us.

Thank you so much for all the help through my application and medical process. I have learned a lot and received a ton of assistance from you ever since last summer. I hope you come visit sometime because I know a lot of people on here will be wanting to hear from you!:thumb:

Mr. Mullen, thank you for everything you have done to assist so many...including my son! You will be missed...though you still will be working around the clock and as hard as ever, I'm sure; Future lurkers and posters will miss out on your words of wisdom and certainly your humor! All the best!

In the near future, I will be leaving the Forums, not DoDMERB. I will let you know exactly when I will sign off. Team DoDMERB has stood up another opportunity to have questions answered at "HelpDesk@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil" It is operational now and staff members are gladly willing to assist you. Our current website is also up and running (https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil)
This was posted a couple of months ago by Larry. Anyone know if it has been implemented yet or what the delay might be?

Govt red tape was not in the house with your, Mr. Mullen! You resolved DS's glitch in paperwork almost immediately. I've never had better service anywhere, and I have worked for Fortune 10 who pride themselves "best in class". You are now my standard for that and I will be referencing your work on this board in future POWERPOINTS! (that's for Bullet! LOL). Lucky to have had your assistance for DS. Thank YOU!

I have seen replies from him posted over the last 24hours, so he's still scanning the forum. However, based on all the kudos about his help, I emailed him last week, and haven't gotten a response.

But what you forgot to say was what my Out of office message stated, which I complied with....everyone received a reply by midnight Sat night (last night). U R welcome:thumb:
